  11.   The DDN MANAGEMENT BULLETIN is distributed online by the DDN Network
  12.   Information Center under DISA contract as a means of communicating
  13.   official policy, procedures and other information of concern to
  14.   management personnel at DDN facilities.  Back issues may be read
  15.   through the TACNEWS server ("@n" command at the TAC) or may be
  16.   obtained by FTP (or Kermit) from the NIC.DDN.MIL host [192.112.36.5]
  17.   using login="anonymous" and password="guest".  The pathname
  18.   for bulletins is ddn-news/ddn-mgt-bulletin-nn.txt (where "nn" is the
  19.   bulletin number).

  22.  Subject: Transition of Management of DISN-NT CISCO IP Routers
  23.  
  24.  1.  As of 13 Jan 1993, DISA will transfer the monitoring and control of the  
  25.      DISN-NT CISCO Internet Protocol Routers and the responsibility for managing
  26.      their store-and -orward function between MILNET and NSFNET to the DISN
  27.      Monitoring Center in Columbus, Ohio.  After 13 Jan, all problem calls
  28.      concerning these assets should be directed to the Columbus, Ohio DISN
  29.      Level II monitoring center, DSN 850-8080, Commercial 614-692-8080.

  31.  2.  Note that the MILNET MC will continue to control the MILNET Butterfly
  32.      mailbridges and their function of supplying dynamic routing information
  33.      to MILNET-connected IPRs.  Problems associated with these devices should be
  34.      reported to the MILNET MC, 1-800-451-7413.

  36.  3.  Since the functions of the mailbridges and the DISN-NT IPRs are so closely
  37.      related, you may have problems that you cannot assign to a specific
  38.      device/network.  In that case, you may contact either monitoring center for
  39.      assistance.
